FOOD AND WINE FESTIVAL

Join Gottscheer Friendship and the Steuben Parade Committee on a trip to the Hudson Valley Food and Wine Festival. Enjoy unlimited wine tastings from the thousands of wines featured, gourmet food, a fine arts & crafts market, and more! Round trip coach bus departs from Glendale, NY and Forest Hills, NY.

STEUBEN PARADE WELCOME

The Steuben Parade Committee welcomes some 20 groups from Germany to march in this year’s Parade. Join us for a special opportunity to hear the marching bands warm up for their performance on Fifth Avenue.


STEUBEN PARADE GALA

Friday, September 19 – 6.30 pm
Hornblower Infinity Yacht- Hudson River Park Pier 40, Manhattan

The Gala this year will be held on the yacht Hornblower Infinity leaving from Pier 40 in NYC. Standard and Premium Tickets for the Steuben Parade Gala are now available.

Tickets are $200 for standard seating or $500 for VIP Cocktail and VIP Dinner Seating. These tickets can be purchased with paypal on our website store www.GermanParadeNYC.org/store. GERMAN-AMERICAN STEUBEN PARADE

Saturday, September 20 – 12 Noon
Fifth Avenue, 68th Street to 86th Street
Grand Stand at 79th Street

The German-American Steuben Parade is one of the most colorful and fun parades in New York City - marching up Fifth Avenue from 68th to 86th Street, it brings out music and dance groups, marching bands, karneval groups and people in "Tracht", the traditional clothing worn in many different German regions. The 57th Annual Steuben Parade will be led by Grand Marshal John Muller, Emmy Award-winning American Journalist, born in Queens and raised in Long Island A highlight of the Steuben Parade are the many themed floats and the dances performed by many of the marching groups from all over Germany and the United States.

The Steuben Parade is FREE to watch, and no tickets are necessary. However, there is a Grand Stand on Fifth Avenue and 79th Street; Tickets are $15 and include prime seating in view of the red carpet, where the dance performances are. You must enter from 78th St. between Madison Avenue to 5th Ave. This event will be on rain or shine.

OKTOBERFEST IN CENTRAL PARK

Saturday, September 20 – 1.30 PM
Rumsey Playfield; enter Central Park at E 72nd St.

The largest beer fest in New York City, the Steuben Parade Oktoberfest in Central Park serves over 3,500 people. There´s great German food, music by "Spitze!" and "Die Schlauberger" and much more. Other highlights include the US Championship in Masskrugstemmen, presented by Hofbräu as well as a variety of German food, beer and wine.
